You’re officially booked onto the Sculpted Acrylic Training Course at The Nail Room Training Academy - we can’t wait to welcome you.

This page includes all the essential information to prepare for your two-day training and assessment experience.

Please take your time to fully read the course details below to ensure you’re prepped for the very best learning outcomes.

  • Day 1 – Training:
    Day 2 – Assessment:
    Time: Both days start at 10.30am (Assessment day model arrives at 1:00pm)
    Location: The Nail Room Training Academy
    Unit 3 Tudor Buildings, South Westby Street, Lytham St Annes. FY8 5JE

  • This course is taught over two days with case study support in between.

    Day 1 – Training

    • Icebreaker & goal setting

    • Anatomy, Physiology & Health & Safety refresher

    • Benefits of acrylic systems and kit overview

    • Nail prep and form application

    • Correct acrylic bead ratio and application

    • Full set demo + hands-on practice

    • Filing, shaping, buffing demo (e-file use for qualified students)

    • Infill & maintenance overview

    • Q&A + planning for case studies

    Between Days – Case Study Period

    To complete your qualification, you must submit:

    • 2 full sets of acrylics

    • 2 infills (at least one must include a nail repair)

    • Clear before, during, and after photos
      You’ll be supported throughout via email for feedback and advice.

    Day 2 – Assessment

    • Review of submitted case studies

    • Individual support based on your learning needs

    • Final assessment: complete a full set of acrylics on your model
      Danielle will be available to support you during this live assessment.

  • Your model must:

    • Arrive at 1:00pm

    • Have completely bare natural nails

    • Be available for 2.5–3 hours for the full acrylic set

    • Phones (yours and your model’s) should remain on silent

    • Read the Health & Safety Manual

    • Come with bare nails — no gel, polish, or enhancements

    • Review the anatomy and safety material in advance — there will be a short quiz before we begin practical work

    • Ensure your model is booked and prepped for assessment day

    • Arrive on time both days

    • Wear professional attire — photos may be taken

    • You’ll be working on your own nails during training

    • Removal services will not be available on the day
